Join our team Lucy Loo! Come walk with Lucy & other families who want to make a difference! Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. We're walking in March for Babies because our Lucy was born at 29 weeks, due to HELLP syndrome in Mommy. While in the NICU, we saw many babies facing multiple health issues. We also saw many families facing mental and physical and emotional obstacles no one should ever experience. These issues are very dear to us since our NICU journey. We want to do all we can to help give every baby a chance to be born healthy! We want to help other families, and we need your help!
Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start! If you'd like to be a corporate sponsor, message me at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out the levels of sponsorship & the perks!
You can also pray for the babies & families facing an early birth. We have a healthy 7 year old who has caught up to her gestational milestones, but know the outcome isn't always this way. These babies are born fighting for their lives. Pray for strength during the NICU journey & beyond.
We are so thankful for the March of Dimes and St. Thomas Midtown (Baptist) NICU. They cared for our sweet baby for 53 days. We wouldn't have wanted to be in any other NICU, and are so thankful for them. Nashville is blessed to have such caring nurses and doctors.
We know that the research and developments and funding from March of Dimes helped us get to where we are today. We know everyone's story doesn't end like ours, but we want to be part of the change. We want to help moms have healthy full term pregnancies & deliver healthy babies. That is why we are sharing our story, and why we are walking for the 7th year as Team Lucy Loo. Thank you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you on April 21 at Nissan Stadium! Let's do it or the babies!
