I was born four months early, and because of that, I have had a lot of obstacles to overcome in my life. I have never given up, though, and that's why I'm here today. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon like I was, too small and often very sick. I'm raising money for the March of Dimes because I want to do something about this so that other kids don't have to fight for their lives like I did and don't have to deal with all the problems that can come from premature birth. And I need your help.
This year, the March of Dimes asked my family if we would take on a new challenge, so we're putting on the inaugural DUNCAN DASH, a 5K run/walk/roll/stroll in Meeks Park in Blairsville on March 25, 2017. There will be prizes for the fastest runners in each age group, but people of ALL abilities are welcome to participate. There's even a shorter fun run route for kids or others who aren't into the full 5K. Those of you who don't live close enough to come can register as virtual runners. You'll get a race bib and shirt and can cover the miles on your schedule, wherever you are. Just send in your time to be eligible for awards.
Proceeds from the Duncan Dash go to the March of Dimes to help save babies' lives and provide quality healthcare for mothers.

Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
