Why I walk

As a Labor & Delivery nurse and a mother to four children all born premature, March of Dimes is a foundation I hold dear to my heart. Through work I have witnessed countless of premature deliveries and just how crucial proper medical care is to the outcome of these newborns. I experienced it on a much deeper personal level 9 years ago when our first (of four preemies) was born. Yes, all four of our children were born premature. In 2011, our son Chase was born at just 31 weeks gestation and weighed just over 3 lbs when he was born. He spent 5 weeks in the NICU. In 2012, our daughter Camden was born at 32 weeks, and she too spent weeks in the NICU. And last year, in 2016, we welcomed twin girls, Blake & Brooklyn, who were born at 33 weeks. With the advancements in medical care (with the help of March of Dimes) all our children are healthy & thriving. We couldn't imagine if our children weren't given that possibilty. We can't imagine other premature babies not being given that same chance.

This foundation means so much to us that WE WILL MATCH EVERY DONATION GIVEN. So please help support March of Dimes and the amazing work they do for babies by donating to my team.

In honor of a great cause (and in honor of Chase, Camden, Blake & Brooklyn), thank you in advance for your donation.

With love,

Staci & Ryan Harding

Every mom and baby deserve the best possible start

Two babies die every hour in the U.S. And about every 12 hours a woman dies as a result of complications from pregnancy.

It's not fine. That's why we March for Babies.

We march to end maternal death. We march for babies born too soon. We march for babies we have lost. We march for moms-to-be. And we march for health equity.

Join the fight for healthy moms and strong babies, and make a difference for families everywhere!
