Hi Everyone! I'll be walking March for Babies on April 25 with Bruins for Babies. I love working in the NICU. I love tiny babies that can fit in the palm of your hand and big babies that make your arms sore from carrying them. I love teaching families how to care for their baby and witnessing parents hold their baby for the first time. I love sending our NICU graduates home to their parents. So much has changed in the past 10+ years since I have become a nurse. Research like the kind of research that March of Dimes supports help us to achieve better outcomes for our patients and families. Please support the babies that I take care of and support the families that benefit from its work. If you believe, like I do, that every baby deserves the best possible start, please march with me or make a donation to support this community effort. Together we can fight for the health of all moms and babies.
Two babies die every hour in the U.S. And about every 12 hours a woman dies as a result of complications from pregnancy.
It's not fine. That's why we March for Babies.
We march to end maternal death. We march for babies born too soon. We march for babies we have lost. We march for moms-to-be. And we march for health equity.
Join the fight for healthy moms and strong babies, and make a difference for families everywhere!
