Why I walk

My grandson, Matthew, is now almost 11 years old and doing very well after having such a rough start in life when he was born prematurely at 25 weeks. He received extensive help during his 3 month stay in the NICU. In appreciation of all the help that he and my grandniece, Gianna, who was also premature and spent 2 months in the NICU, received - I am walking on Sunday April 30th at the Lakefront in absentia (actual walk will be in the Sierra Estrella Mountains in Arizona). I invite you to walk with our team - which is aptly named "Team Cugini" - translated means team cousins. If you cannot join us for the walk then I would ask you to help us by joining as a team member and help raise funds or at the least make a donation yourself. As an advocate for projects that help all people - I heartily endorse this march that targets the smallest of us all and the most vulnerable. As adults it is our responsibility to put both our money and our feet where they can make a positive impact on these small lives. Don't think you can walk the 5 Kilometers? - read my blog to see how Arlene and I walked 725 Kilometers in Spain. The Family thanks you for your generosity! Grazie! - Dale

Your gift matters

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
