Our Science, Data, and Evaluation team at March of Dimes headquarters is part of the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
Since 2001, we have provided access to critical maternal and infant health data via PeriStats. For 15 years, we have published the March of Dimes Report Card. to describe the status of preterm birth and other important maternal and infant health outcomes at both the national and state levels.
We also produce reports describing access to care through the Maternity Care Desert Report and published a peer-reviewed manuscript descriibing pregnant women of color's percention of the COVID-19 vaccines.
We also evaluate March of Dimes programs for learning and reporting. For example,we work with many departments to describe our impact through the NICU Family Support Program, the March of Dimes Mom and Baby Action Network, our professional education offerings, and legislative advocacy.
In 2022 we published a Case Study describing the Better Starts for All Pilot Project and in 2023, we published a Case Study describing physician feedback to inform opportunities to reduce non-medically necessary Cesarean births in collaboration with HCA Healthcare.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, we’re committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. And you can help us.
Please visit our fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
