We are so excited to be back for our 6th year walking in memory of our son, Aaron Ryan Kohn. Aaron was born stillborn in July 2018 at 34 weeks after a completely healthy pregnancy. Stillbirth is the death of an infant before or during delivery at 20 or more completed gestational weeks. We have learned that this is all too common, yet there is little awareness for this tragedy. One in every 160 pregnancies in the United States ends in stillbirth. This means that there are more than 26,000 stillborn babies each year in the United States (71 each day). This is about the same number of babies that die during the first year of life and it is more than 10 times as many deaths as the number that occur from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
We can't wait to have Paige and Jared join us. Aaron would be turning 6 years old this summer. Please consider joining our team to spread awareness for stillbirths and to help support March of Dimes in all the important work they do!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
