Premature birth affects about 450,000 babies here in the United States. On March 6th, 2016, our son Sebastian Francis Cremidis was delivered stillborn at thirty-six weeks. March of Dimes offered many resources to support us and their March for Babies gave us a positive way to remember our darling boy. In 2019, we had the honor of being the MoD's North Bay Ambassador Family. In this role and even just as parents who've suffered a loss, we have met and offered advice to several families who have also been affected by stillbirth.
March of Dimes advocates for strong moms and healthy babies. They've invested in medical research to promote full-term pregnancies, created a NICU app, and developed supportive resources for grieving families. You can support strong moms and healthy babies by joining our walking team at Mission Park on April 25th and/or by making a secure donation to help us reach our goal. Together we can help the March of Dimes support families and fight prematurity so more babies can get the strongest start possible.
With appreciation,
Emily
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
