The Oakland Bay Area Chapter (OBAC) has set a very ambitious goal of $25,000 with a stretch goal of $50,000. Why? Because we strongly believe in the mission and work of March of Dimes (MOD). March of Dimes is a national partner to Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and our MOD efforts align with our organization’s values of being children-centric and philanthropic.
Further our chapter is fortunate to have the maternal advocates of all advocates as one of us. Dr. Amanda Williams is  a long standing member of our chapter and is the Interim Chief Medical Officer for MOD nationally. Dr. Williams has been additionally been an advocate for Black maternal health. So March of Dimes and the world will get to see, feel and know what OBAC sees, feels and knows.
So together in partnership with Dr. Williams, OBAC's executive board, and the 90 mother Members that comprise our chapter membership, we look forward to your support of our MOD fundraising efforts.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
