The money we raise helps fund research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death and the biggest threat to babies'''' health today.
The Brothers have a personal stake in this effort. Some of our members were premature; others have siblings, children or friends that have been touched by prematurity. In 2011, Bro. Ricardo Spencer was blessed with the birth of his son, Julian. Julian was born 3 months early at a weight of 1 pound, 14 ounce. However, Julian loss his battle and transitioned a day later but his life will encourage his Alpha Uncles as they participate in March For Babies 2025.
