Through the creation of a collaborative project with the March of Dimes, designed to provide education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases for young males ages 12-15 years, Project Alpha became an Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. National Program.
In addition to Project Alpha, the March of Dimes March for Babies serves as an example of Alpha's national partnership with the March of Dimes to support the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation.
The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
