We walk in memory of Oskar Raj Nachtrieb. Oskar, Rena and George's first child, was born on March 25, 2017 as a result of spontaneous preterm birth when Rena was almost 28 weeks pregnant. He was a fiesty little guy with his dad's long legs. He knew his mother's voice, and liked holding on to his parents fingers. He died in his parents arms when he was 7 days old.
We walk because preterm birth is the leading cause of infant death, yet so little is understood about it. The March of Dimes funds important research relating to preterm birth to better understand it, prevent it and treat it to give every baby a chance at life.
Join George, Rena and their family in their walk in Oskar's memory as well as in memory of every baby that died too soon because of preterm birth.
