Our team, Alice Dawn Gillespie is part of the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. Alice Dawn was born premature due to congenital hydrocephalus and as a results has developmental and intellectual disabilities. Aproximately 8 million babies worldwide are born with birth defects. In addition, premature births can causea long lasting health effects including developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities. Our team is passionate about raising funds to support research and funding for premature babies and their families. The NICU is a scary, beautiful world and any support provided through march of dimes to parents and babies makes a significant impact in the lives of these families.
Please visit our fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
