Members and auxiliaries of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. recognize clearly that in her 100 years of being community-conscious and action-oriented, we must continue to lead the way to end a difficult situation, task or be the solution to a challenging problem.
With regards to birth outcomes for moms and babies, challenging problems like health threats exist. And because we have one too many babies suffering and families hurting, there is much more for us to do to find solutions.
Together with the March of Dimes, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority recognizes that progress cannot be made in isolation and certainly by not standing still or going in reverse. With years of success and accomplishments, it is easy for us as members and auxiliaries of Zeta Phi Beta to sit back and rest on our laurels.

Stork’s Nest is an incentive-based, prenatal health promotion program for low-income pregnant women. A partnership of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and the March of Dimes, Stork’s Nest encourages women to make and keep prenatal care appointments and participate in prenatal education classes. Getting early and regular prenatal care and learning about healthy pregnancy choices are significant contributors to helping women have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.
On an average day in the United States...
Two babies die every hour in the U.S. And about every 12 hours a woman dies as a result of complications from pregnancy.
It's not fine. That's why we March for Babies.
We march to end maternal death. We march for babies born too soon. We march for babies we have lost. We march for moms-to-be. And we march for health equity.
Join the fight for healthy moms and strong babies, and make a difference for families everywhere!
