Here we go - our 15th March for Babies!
March of Dimes is close to our hearts as our daughter, Ellery, had to be born at 33 weeks, due to rare, life-threatening conditions called Fetal Hydrops & Congenital Chylothorax. Ellery was only given a 5% chance to survive. Our beautiful daughter is with us today after a 28-day NICU stay (along with four PICU admissions). Ellery spent 44 days in the hospital along with 3 months of healing at home with the help of medical equipment to help her breathe. Ellery is here because of a March of Dimes grant given to Dr. John P. Kinsella & Dr. Steven Abman, of Children's Hospital at the University of Colorado. Their brilliant work led to the approval of nitric oxide to treat newborns with persistent pulmonary hypertension (PPHN), life-threatening high blood pressure in the baby's lungs that often interferes with breathing. Ellery suffered from PPHN & almost lost her life because of it. She would not be here today if she had not had nitric oxide therapy.
We also have the March of Dimes to thank for our 16-year old son, Wyatt, and 10-year old son, Sawyer, who were born healthy & full-term.
Please consider donating to our walk, or walking with us. Everything is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your support for Ellery, our family & the March of Dimes!!

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
