Team "Coins for Clayton" is up and moving again! Clayton was born at 24 weeks in Harrisburg, PA weighing only 1lb 5.5oz. Clayton's story of overcoming a lot of obstacles was through the power of prayer and also through medical interventions supported by research funded by the March of Dimes. This is our families 9th year supporting this week and Clayton will be joined by his big sister Kenya, who is also a preemie, born at 33 weeks weighing 3lbs 13oz at UNC Hospitals. Although Clayton spent 95 days in the NICU, Kenya only spent 10 days and suffered no short or longer term effects of being born premature. We hope that you will support us as we continue to walk to support the education and research of the March of Dimes through joining our team on April 23rd in walking virtually. If you can't join the walk virtually, we do hope that you will DONATE and help team Coins for Clayton reach our goal. For information on Clayton's story, please visit www.aviebanks.com.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
