On February 16, 2013, Jackie McKenna was born 6 weeks premature. Shortly after she was born, she stopped breathing and was transferred to the NICU at Paoli Hospital where she spent the next 24 days until we were finally able to take her home. Thanks to the help of the March of Dimes and the research and medical support it provides, Jackie has grown into an thriving and active little girl. Like Jackie, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
Two babies die every hour in the U.S. And about every 12 hours a woman dies as a result of complications from pregnancy.
It's not fine. That's why we March for Babies.
We march to end maternal death. We march for babies born too soon. We march for babies we have lost. We march for moms-to-be. And we march for health equity.
Join the fight for healthy moms and strong babies, and make a difference for families everywhere!
