Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Meet The Seichepine Family

Lindsay and Jim were so excited to be expecting their third child. This was Lindsay’s second pregnancy and everything appeared to be normal. Then during her 26th week she experienced blurred vision and swelling. She was experiencing preeclampsia and had an emergency C-section on July 6, 2013 and delivered Currie Jo (CJ) weighing only 1 lb. 5 oz. Jim was in shock at how tiny CJ was and before Lindsay could see her baby CJ was rushed to the NICU. Due to the effects of the preeclampsia Lindsay was not able to see her daughter for two days. While in the NICU CJ had many pic lines and received caffeine almost daily. Lindsay remembers receiving a very helpful packet of information from the March of Dimes with items for the baby and parents. After 3 months in the NICU CJ was able to come home. Today CJ is a feisty toddler and loves playing with her sisters as well as her toys. She is quite the ham.
