This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Raelyn and Jaxson Blazosky

After years of infertility Dana and Ben Blazosky decided to see a specialist and figure out why they couldn't conceive. After many doctor visits, Dana was diagnosed with endometriosis. After having treatment and seeing a fertility specialist for 9 months they finally got the good news that they were pregnant, soon after that they found out that they would be blessed with twins! Dana Blazosky: “At 23 weeks my water broke and I was admitted to hospital until I delivered. The statistics were scary but the knowledge of the doctors and nurses about prematurity and how to prepare for it was a blessing. They kept me informed and hopeful that I could do this and whatever the outcome that I was prepared for it. I delivered Raelyn 2.4lbs and Jaxson 2.7lbs at 28 weeks. We had 2 teams of doctors, nurses, and specialists waiting and prepared for intubation and care for each baby. They were immediately transported to Akron Children’s Hospital NICU where they remained for the next 100 nights. They were tiny and fragile but were strong fighters. All I could do was pray by their bedside and tell them I love them daily. As I was there for my babies, the hospital staff and special people from March of Dimes were there for me. They talked with me daily and made sure I was doing well and had everything that I needed. Today Raelyn and Jaxson are HEALTHY, HAPPY and full of energy. They have reached every milestone and continue to amaze me every day. My family and we have been truly blessed and can't express enough gratitude and admiration we have towards everyone who has helped us.” Sincerely, The Blazosky Family
