Eighteen years ago, I was born prematurely at 31 weeks related to my mom’s diagnosis of Oligohydraminos. I was born via c-section and my mom even told me they even warmed up the operating room to make my transition into life easier. I lived in the NICU for 5 long weeks- lab draws, a blood transfusion, xrays, double diapering, phototherapy, more lab draws, ultrasounds and physical therapy. I left the hospital on continuous oxygen, referred to many special doctors for my eyes and other frequent "routine" doctor appointments. Because of my mom and her involvement through Tri City Medical Center, I became involved with MARCH FOR BABIES at the ripe old age of 7 and have been going strong ever since! This year marked my 10 years giving back to the organization that helped my mom, dad and me when we needed it so much. Thank you to all of my supporters!!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
