We are the crews of the USS Challenger, Cleveland chapter, USS Innovation, Akron chapter, and USS Uhura, Sandusky chapter, of the International Federation of Trekkers (IFT), an international Star Trek fan organization dedicated to community service and Living the Dream of a hopeful future for all humankind. I am Vice Admiral Joe Outlaw, commanding officer of the USS Challenger. I am joined by my Team Co-Captains Rear Admiral Tony Meyer, CO of the USS Innovation, and Rear Admiral Pam Schulin, CO of the USS Uhura, We've formed our March for Babies Federation team to raise money to help all babies be born healthy. Please join us in this important endeavor. You can sign up to walk with us from this page. Everyone is welcome!
The money we raise helps fund research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death and the biggest threat to babies'' health today. Can you think of anything more important than the health of our babies? If you can''t join us, please donate to our team from this page. It''s fast, easy and secure.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
