We believe every baby deserves the best possible start, but unfortunately not all babies get one. In fact, each year more than 380,000 babies are born prematurely in the U.S. We are partnering with the March of Dimes to help change that.
UCLA Health has a long-standing partnership with the March of Dimes. Since 2010, our team UCLA Bruins for Babies has worked collaboratively to support potentially lifesaving research for babies and mothers. We take great pride in our commitment to our patients and the community and we are honored to support a foundation that stands for the health of all moms and babies. Additionally, March of Dimes has provided UCLA with over $4 million in research grants, incredible resources for families with babies in our NICUs and educational opportunities for our staff.
For these reasons and many more, we are more determined than ever to support March for Babies and reach our fundraising goal of $15,000. We welcome you to join us. We hope you will continue on this journey with us and please know YOUR DONATION MATTERS. You have the ability to make a HUGE impact with very little effort. So please, if you have the capacity, consider donating to the campaign and encouraging your friends and family to do the same. It's quick and easy! Just clink the 'DONATE TO TEAM' button on our page.
On behalf of all of us at UCLA Health, we thank and appreciate you!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
