Throughout the years, KPMG has raised over $3,209,000; for March for Babies nationwide! I am excited about the upcoming event and hope 2021 will be our best year yet. We've set a goal to raise a minimum of $30,000 through the support of staff, family, and friends.
If you cannot attend the walk event you can still register and fundraise for the cause. There is no registration fee or minimum donation required to participate.
KPMG and employees can easily rally behind the March of Dimes simply because of its important mission to improve the health of babies. Each year, almost 380,000 babies are born prematurely, and approximately 120,000 babies are born with serious birth defects.
March of Dimes leads the movement to find the causes and prevention of premature birth, the #1 cause of death for babies. The organization funds an elite network of Prematurity Research Centers, including one in Chicago. March of Dimes also educates moms about healthy pregnancies and provides support to families with newborns in intensive care throughout the country.
