Join Suffolk Public Schools in Supporting the March of Dimes Campaign
From March 24, 2025, to May 2, 2025, our school system will be participating in the March of Dimes campaign, a nationwide effort dedicated to improving the health of mothers and babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. This campaign aligns with our values of community service and support for vital health initiatives.
Purpose of Fundraising and Service Activities:
The March of Dimes focuses on medical research, education for pregnant women, community programs, government advocacy, and support for families affected by prematurity and birth defects. Our participation will contribute to these efforts, ensuring every family has access to the resources they need for healthy pregnancies and babies.
Fundraising Goal:
We have set a goal to raise $4000 during this campaign. This will be achieved through various fundraising activities and events organized by our students and staff.
Designated Liaisons:
Each school within our system will have designated liaisons who will assist in coordinating events, promoting the campaign, and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate.
