The Greater Philadelphia/SJ Staff is dedicated to raising critical funds for moms and babies through our 2022 March For Babies Team! We are walking for the health of all Moms and Babies.
In the 2021 March of Dimes Report Card, Pennsylvania scored a C+ for premature birth with a rate of 9.6., but Philadelphia scored a D- with a premature birth rate of 11.4, a disappointing increase from 2020. Furthermore, racial disparities in maternal and infant health are significant and have shown no improvements. Black women and pregnant people living in Greater Philadelphia have a higher risk for premature birth, infant death and maternal mortality than all other women. Join us in being a champion for families, focusing on communities with the greatest need and fighting for the best possible care for all moms and babies.
